Area residents with disabilities, caregivers targeted for vaccination

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Central Texans with disabilities and their caregivers acquired COVID-19 vaccinations Friday in Waco as a part of an effort to vaccinate 22,000 of the state’s most susceptible residents in 19 days.

Austin’s almost 70-year-old Tarrytown Pharmacy launched the “March to Vaccinate Susceptible Texans” initiative

Waco is considered one of 35 cities wherein the pharmacy is internet hosting drive-up vaccination clinics for resident with mental and developmental disabilities, caregivers, and the employees of supplier organizations.
