National Charity League honors 19 high school seniors for volunteer work | Entertainment/Life

The River Highway Chapter of Nationwide Charity League honored 19 Baton Rouge-area highschool seniors for his or her neighborhood volunteer work on March 6.

These younger girls have served greater than 2,200 hours at numerous native charitable organizations over the previous six years. As members of Nationwide Charity League, every younger lady has fulfilled the necessities for participation in cultural actions and management growth from seventh grade by means of her senior 12 months of highschool, along with the service to Baton Rouge-area charities and nonprofit organizations.

Acknowledged have been:

Caroline Claire Daigle, daughter of Lisa and Michael Daigle and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Riley Elizabeth Golightly, daughter of Carolyn and George Golightly and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Emily Ann Gonzalez, daughter of Cris and Ramon Gonzalez and a scholar at College View Academy; Sarah Campbell Harris, daughter of Jennifer and Tim Harris and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Zoe Lillian Joubert, daughter of Eryn Lackett and Johnny Joubert and a scholar at College Laboratory Faculty;

Hannah Louise Kaplan, daughter of Daniela and Seth Kaplan and a scholar at College Laboratory Faculty; Jenna Noelle LaBonne, daughter of Tami and Paul LaBonne and a scholar at Parkview Baptist Faculty; Claire Elizabeth Lazaroe, daughter of Anita and Tim Lazaroe and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Londyn Elise Moreau, daughter of Holly and Matt Moreau and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Katherine Ann Oehrle,  daughter of Lynn and Matt Oehrle and a scholar at Episcopal Excessive Faculty;

Christin Marie Ransome, daughter of Alisa and Dustin Ransome and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Emma Catherine Reine, daughter of Kristy and Chris Reine and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Kathryn Isabelle Rothkamm, daughter of Kathryn Gober Rothkamm and James Rothkamm Jr. and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Catherine Karen Saunders, daughter of Karen and Henri Saunders and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy;

Emma Elaine Schlotterer, daughter of Dana and Dean Schlotterer and a scholar at Episcopal Excessive Faculty; Katherine Elizabeth Scully, daughter of Elizabeth and Don Scully and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Suzanne Stafford Smith, daughter of Suzy and Matt Smith and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; Emily Annalise Uter, daughter of Ashley and Brennan Uter and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy; and Claudia Cooper Willis, daughter of Renée and Bubba Willis and a scholar at St. Joseph’s Academy.

The Nationwide Charity League, established in 1947 and included in 1958, has greater than 283 chapters in 30 states, with greater than 200,000 members and alumnae nationwide. Its mission is to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic group dedicated to neighborhood service, management growth and cultural experiences.

The River Highway Chapter, developed in 1999, is celebrating 22 years within the Baton Rouge neighborhood. In the present day, the native chapter, which is NCL’s solely chapter in Louisiana, has grown to greater than 250 members.

Ladies and their daughters could also be nominated for membership within the group by one of many group’s energetic members in good standing. College students can grow to be eligible for membership within the seventh grade.
