Are you curious? We all are, filled with questions! Because we do not want to make mistakes and make sure we get everything just right. We have been told, as a child to this unique adult that we have become, that being right and doing the right thing is essential. But how is it humanly possible to get it all right? Well, firstly, what is right or wrong for your physical, emotional, social and overall well-being is not based on a formula. Secondly, it’s good to ask questions, especially when you feel things are a mess and you want to turn to wellness.
This is a time you need a guide, consultant, trainer, counsellor, advisor, pretty much, an all in one go-to person. Luckily, all these roles are played holistically by a wellness coach. They understand your needs, goals and purposes and help you find answers to those very questions that are affecting your daily lifestyle. A true wellness coach will always help you celebrate you, get you to turn challenges into opportunities and become your companion in your journey towards liberation or manifestation. So to keep your curiosity going, let’s start a fun, authentic, tell all, wait, I mean ask all! Presenting to you, 10 questions with a wellness coach.
1. Is Perfection A Myth?

Your version of perfection is for you to define. I feel perfect with my freckles, I embrace and define my beauty and my virtue for the confidence and self love it brings to me. So yes, perfection, defined by the world, is a myth.
2. Is It Okay To Feel Sad?
It’s okay to not be ok. You need to allow yourself moments when the mind or the body wants to retract or feel low or simply try to process the downtime. Be mindful that no emotion is permanent, so let it pass.
3. How Do I Control My Anger?
Multiple techniques based on positive psychology are available as immediate tools to stop any kind of negative displacement like anger. The important part is that you ‘want’ to control the anger, so now you just need to pick a practice that works as a distraction so your anger does not cause any damage to you or others.
4. Does My Sexuality Define Me?

Your acceptance of your own self defines you. Wellness is not biased towards sex, age, occupation. Clearing the mess and turning into wellness, is what planet earth, animals and us humans should endeavour to do so we can appreciate the beauty within and outside us.
5. Is There A Meaning To Life?
There is a meaning to everything in life. It’s like the element of water, constantly changing shapes and forms. So things change, people change and life is constant evolution. The meaning lies in living life not in life itself. Choosing to be alive and not just surviving.
6. I Have A Love And Hate Relationship With Social Media. Is This Healthy?
Social media has its pros and cons like anything else in life. Is it your need or habit is the real question. A constant need to be on it or viewing it, well, that is an extreme, so your relationship with social media can’t be a healthy one. Balance is the key here, similar to any other thing in life.
7. So I Only Need To Eat, Sleep And Work Right?

If only that would make you live a healthy, happy and inspiring life, then sure. If only three things could be the end of it all! However, there is so much more to heal, discover, embrace and enrich our lives with. So go and explore beyond these tick boxes.
8. Is There Only One Path To Wellness?
There are many. So don’t stop with one diet that failed, or that one day you did not go for a run, or the time you just could not focus on meditation. Wellness asks you to work in to work out things in your life. Music, art, sports, books, pets – there are many creative ways like these or traditional forms like yoga, workout and counselling for you to explore. Try something new daily. Never give up on your wellness.
9. What Does Wellness Include?
As per the ‘wheel of wellness’ model that puts you at the centre, balancing the seven dimensions of your life, wellness includes the following: self care (physical body), self belief (emotional), self esteem (financial), self love (personal), positive connections (social), insight (intellectual), and fulfilment (spiritual). Catering to all of these and anything else that resonates with your mental health and holistic well-being is a part of your world of wellness. It’s your only constant, hence celebrate it with laughter, joy and gratitude.
10. How Do I Find A Wellness Coach?

A wellness coach should become your wellness companion. So go out, meet different professionals in the wellness field, try their sessions and choose who you can be truly vulnerable in front of, who can guide you to go deeper to find the answers yourself, who is a friend in need and friend indeed. To upcycle your lifestyle, you need a Coach, to turn all the mess (the anxiety, stress, confusion) in your life into wellness (peace, longevity, happiness).
