Vaccination rates among area care facilities have increased as case counts for COVID-19 continue to dwindle.

According to the Texas Department of Human Health Services’ latest report, which reflects data through March 4, there were no active cases of the virus among the area’s 16 care facilities, which includes 10 nursing homes and six assisted living facilities.

Through the March 4 report, there have been a total of 403 total cases among area face facility residents – 382 of which are among nursing homes – as well as 265 total employee cases and 70 resident deaths. These numbers have not changed in recent weeks.

HHS has begun providing vaccination rates among area care facilities.

In Plainview facilities, 36 residents and 20 employees have received two doses at the Plainview Healthcare Center with 45 residents and 31 employees receiving two doses at the Prairie House Living Center.

Three residents and one employee have received one dose at the Lockney Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Lamb County facility vaccine counts include 59 employees and 48 residents receiving two doses at Runningwater Draw Care Center Inc. in Olton. At Arbor Grace Wellness Center in Littlefield, 30 residents and 10 employees have received at least one dose while 36 residents and 14 employees at Harmonee House in Amherst have also received one dose.

At Park View Nursing Home in Muleshoe, 37 employees and 31 residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine. Country View Living in Dimmitt has reported 41 employees and 10 residents receiving two doses with 46 residents having received at least one dose.

At the Tulia Health and Rehabilitation Center, 25 residents and 22 employees have received one dose.
