There have been many heartbreaking aspects to the COVID-19 pandemic, but one of the worst has been the isolation of residents of nursing homes and assisted-living facilities. Earlier today (March 17) as part of the loosening of restrictions in Minnesota, the Minnesota Department of Health has released more relaxed guidelines to allow families and friends to have indoor visitations with elderly care patients who have been vaccinated for COVID-19.
