Join us for the 23rd Annual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s! The second annual online version will be held leading up to and on May 30, 2021.
Registration opens March 1, 2021. The Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County (ASSC) is raising money to support persons living with dementia, one of the most pressing health care issues of our time, affecting at least 10,006 residents in Simcoe County.
ASSC is calling out to our supporters to take part in the annual IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s – WALK 10,006 STEPS WITH US for 10,006 people in Simcoe County living with dementia. Walk safely with a team or walk alone, with your dog or with a family member or a friend – do it for dementia.
All funds raised will stay in our community to support the delivery of counselling, support groups, education and social recreational programs to persons living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, their families and care partners. “This is a very difficult and unknown road for us and the people at the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County make it seem somewhat less uncertain!”, ASSC Client.
The IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s is the Alzheimer Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Thanks to the generosity and determination of Simcoe County residents taking part each year, the Walk raises almost $75,000 annually to provide much needed services to our community. “We want to make this year our biggest and best walk yet. Let’s join together to show how much we care,” says Debbie Islam, CEO, ASSC.
