Because so many people in nursing homes have been vaccinated, officials said, visitors don’t have to be.The updated guidance comes as welcome news for many people still waiting to get immunized but anxious to see loved ones in long-term care facilities.”These benchmarks that make us really realize the investment of our efforts in things like the vaccination rate and really, it’s a testament to what our communities have done by way of mask-wearing, socially distancing.
